Shopping Haul

So, i was supposed to have singing practice at KMBS today but I dumped it and went for a shopping spree with mum in Mid Valley (oops). Hey, a girl needs her retail therapy okayy :P

And since its still the end of the year...

SALE SALE SALE SALE SALE SALE

Yesh! The year-end sales are still going on! (thankfully!) I bought four items from various shops, and since i have nothing to do, i decided to post up my shopping haul for today! :D

Here it goes!

First, my most favorite item from today's shopping haul:

I bought this GORGEOUS skirt is from Forever 21. Now, do you know how much this cost me?

RM30 ONLY!!! THIS IS MADNESS!!!

The original price is around RM89.90!!! Isn't this a such a bargain?!?

Onto the next piece;

This shorts is from Padini. The original price is about RM99, but after 70% discount, it only cost me around RM29! AWESOMENESS!!

I love wearing shorts because: 1) its too damn hot in Malaysia 2) i look good in shorts LOL xD *bricked*

This shorts comes in two colours which is brown and black. I took the brown one because i already have black shorts.

Third item:

I have always wanted a cardigan and now i finally own one! Bought this blue cardigan from Jusco.

It was selling for only RM19.90!! How can i resist this kind of price?!?


And my last item,

Bought a pair of long white pants. This is mainly for KMBS purposes such as Wesak and Full Moon Devotional Service which requires us to wear full white attire.

Nothing spectacular about it. Original price is RM119.90 and after 70% discount... you do the math.

That is all for my shopping haul today. My favorite item is definitely the skirt from Forever 21 and the shorts from Padini. I bought a pants it seems, but no shirts at all. o.o Okay, this means i need to go for round two shopping spree!!

Contemplations

In a way, i could say the 2012 T.E.A.M Camp co-organised by us KMBS and Sudhamma youths gave me plenty of mixed feelings. I felt like i'm stuck in the past, alternating from the happy and the unhappy memories of the camp. One moment i could be smiling and laughing at the good times, and the next minute, i could be reminiscing about a sad event, bringing me close to tears. And with that, four days passed in a blur of confusion, of contemplation, of regret.

Throughout my experiences in camps, never had i experience such strong and raw emotions other than pure joy and happiness. But in this camp, for the first time, i experienced loneliness, hurt, anger, sadness, so strong that it completely took over my mental and emotional state, in turn controlling my physical actions as well. This had caused me to lose my cool, behaving the exact opposite of what i usually am. And it was in camp too. Go figures.

Thinking back on how I've acted, I've gone into depression mode, redrawing into myself, leaving it just me, myself, and my thoughts. With that, i started replaying the events from the first day right to the last day of camp. I analysed my role as a facilitator, what i should have done, what i have done instead, and the outcome. And i analysed the situation where i was insulted, and how i have reacted. In the process, i nearly broke down a few times. I felt like crap, and i started questioning my self worth. Nobody likes me. There's nothing desirable about me at all. Basically, i was inconsolable.

After a while, i snapped out of my stupor. Wait a minute, what on earth is going on? Where did these negative thoughts come from? I calmed myself and took a step back to get a clearer picture. I reanalysed every situation and came to a conclusion. Yes, i have done a miserable job. Yes, i have not been myself in the past week or so. Yes, i have made a lot of mistakes. Yes, i was a short fuse and had exploded at the wrong time. And yes, i had probably pissed off several people as well. But i realised that what's done is done, and there's nothing i can do to undo them or to bring back time. Nothing. No amount of contemplation, regret, and self-loathing can change anything. With that thought, again i ask myself. Is there any point beating myself over and over again for something that had already happened? Hmm.

My answer was a yes, and a no. There is no point to keep being emotional and wrecked up over this, but that doesn't mean that i should let this be forgotten. No, i would keep this in mind, to remind myself how emotions can take over me, not only mentally and emotionally, but physically as well. I would use this as lesson to remind myself and keep myself in check. What i can say about this camp was, it was a real eye opener. Like, nothing else had gave me such a wake up call, ever. Its like someone has thrown a bucketfull of ice water at my face. Like a "GROW THE FUCK UP" lecture by an adult.

Wow. And i just celebrated my 18th birthday too.

Infinite 2012 Calender

Wee~ Finally got my Infinite 2012 Season Greeting! ^^
Got it one day later than Kimmi's Teen Top one though hmph =.= POS LAJU WHY U TEEN TOP BIASED. Kimmi got a call from Pos Laju yesterday so i was expecting mine yesterday too. Got a false alarm yesterday, where my mum suddenly called me urgently from downstairs. Thinking its my parcel, i ran downstairs, only to be greeted by an unimportant message from mum =.= Heart attack la mum!

Anyway, my calender finally arrived for real today! Not a false alarm this time! ^^

Since there are many items in the box, i'll show them one by one :)

First item from the box: Postcard + stickers

To be honest, i don't know if these are really considered as postcards, cause there isn't the typical postcard's "address" column and "empty-space-for-you-to-write-your-message" column. Its just a blank white background with Infinite's Be Mine logo. But since i don't know what else to call it, postcards it is.

TADAH! 8 postcards and 1 stickers inside the plastic wrapper! ^^ Postcards are the four at the top and at the bottom, its the four to the right :) One single postcard for each member and one group postcard. The one with multiple pictures at the bottom left is the stickers :D

Ps: I love Dongwoo's postcard! He looks so yeng in it! ♥

Okay, so i'm done with the postcards. Moving on to the next item;

Second item from the box: 2012 diary in a bag

Its hard cover and pure white with Infinite's Be Mine logo and some words. Not very thick, probably about 1/2 inch? The book is quite nice though, there are empty pages for you to write stuff and pages with pictures of Infinite ^^

Somehow, i foresee myself protecting this book with my life if i use it OTL *Imagines those pesky hands of immature people doodling over Infinite's faces...* NOOO!!! I'LL CRY!! T__T *cries*



The 2012 diary with its plastic bag :) The bag is a little dented here and there already though. Thanks to the hardcover edges of the diary :(

Anyway onwards to the third item;

Third item from the box: Poster

Looking at the first picture, i really didn't know that it's a poster until i opened it. It totally looks like a clearfile, so i was assuming that its a clearfile. I thought that they put white paper in front and behind to protect it or what lol *laughs at my own stupidity*

But seriously, just look at it.

Until i open it, then only i realised that its actually a folded poster.

It's a nice picture though :) Other than the fact that they're all cheating on each other (Sunggyu cheated on Woohyun with Dongwoo, Woohyun cheated on Sunggyu with Sungjong, Sungyeol cheated on L with Dongwoo..) i have nothing bad to say about the poster ^^

Last but not least, the most important item;

Forth (and most important) item from the box: Calender

Compared to my SHINee 2011 calender, its a little smaller in height. Width is about the same. Just like SHINee's calender, there are reminders on Infinite's birthdays and their debut anniversary. Infinite also include extras like 600th day of debut, 700th day of debut etc :)



Front cover of the calender. Camera battery almost dead already so i can't take pics of the inside. Sides, it'll take me forever to upload it anyway so i decide not to take pics of the interior. Sides, most of the pictures from the postcards are reused for the calender anyway so, just imagine a bigger version of the picture from the postcards :) Again, i love how they include the date of their 600th and 700th day of debut in addition of the member's birthdays and anniversary of debut ^^ No need to count like crazy now!

Conclusion: I realised that they reused many pictures for the poster, calender and postcards :( Anyway, CAN'T WAIT FOR 2012 TO COME! 4 MORE DAYS TILL I PACK UP MY SHINee 2011 CALENDER AND REPLACE WITH INFINITE 2012 CALENDER ^^

Birthday Girl ^^

Its 22nd December! That means, its my birthday! ^^
Woke up around 10.30am this morning. Had tang yuen for breakfast cause 22nd December also happens to be Winter Solstice festival! ^^ I get to eat tang yuen every year on my birthday!

Mum took me out to Sunway Pyramid for shopping. Had lunch at Full House. ^^ I also bought a new dress and shirt from Kitschen! They were having 70% off for clothes! Then, mum dropped me at RT Pastry to get my birthday cake ^^ I bought their New York Cheese.



After reaching home, dad announced that we're going out for dinner! ^^ We ended up in IOI Boulevard's Umai-ya. Yeap, my dinner was... JAPANESE FOOD!! GLORIOUS JAPANESE FOOD~ ♥♥

After dinner, we went back home to eat my cake. It got a little messy cause the biscuit crumbs are kind of, not attached to the cake and crumbles everywhere when i try to cut the cake OTL

After eating my fill of birthday cake, i proceed to open my birthday present who has been sitting in my cupboard for a looooooonnnnngggg time. Guess what is it? :DD

Epic "SUI" Day

8th December 2011 = One of my most sui day ever lol.

Those who don't know cantonese, sui means something like bad luck i guess.

Let me start from the beginning. Today is the day that i have to return my school textbooks. The night before, i planned to go to school at 9.30am. But in the morning, instead of going to school at 9.30am, i woke up at that time instead =.= And i even have to drag myself off the bed. Need to sleep early next time. Bad luck no.1.

Anyway, when i returned my textbooks, i realised i forgotten to bring the damn Step By Wicked Step book =.= Bad luck no.2.

Kimmi, Phoebe, Zi Ying, Yee Thean, Chooi Kei, and I went to Sunway Pyramid for ice-skating after returning our books. Kimmi and Chooi Kei rode in my car. As we reached, we went off to do our banking for my Infinite 2012 calender and Kimmi's Teen Top 2012 calender. Goodness, we were standing in front of the deposit box for so long! We didn't know the machine wouldn't accept RM5 and RM1, so we were like "Why wont it makan??" We took so long at the machine, that even though we arrived earlier and are supposed to buy the tickets, Phoebe, Zi Ying, and Yee Thean already entered the ice rink when we're finally done with it OTL

Anyway, i left the ice rink at 3.30pm (i think). Mum wanted to leave earlier so she has more time to go to her appointment. As we parked at the rooftop parking, we have to ride the lift to go up. Goodness! The lift malfuntioned and we got stuck in it! Its like, the doors didn't close properly and got jammed. So we couldn't move up or down cause the door isn't closed properly. And we couldn't go out cause the door is jammed. OTL I can say i experienced my first time being stuck in a lift =.= Somehow, i find it funny thoug lol. Cause i was like the only one laughing in the lift ahaha. Anyway, bad luck no.3.

After being stuck in a lift, we exit that lift to find for another lift to go up to the carpark. We were walking around like mad and couldn't find for another lift to take us up! So we had to ask the information counter, and they finally pointed us a lift up. Bad luck no.4.

After founding the lift, we need to pay for the parking ticket. Mum parked at CP2. As we exit the lift, we head towards the machine to pay for the ticket.... only to realise that the machine broke down and is being repaired by the technician OTL So mum and i had to walk down the stairs to the level below to pay at the machine. Bad luck no.5.

After paying for the parking ticket, mum and i were walking around the parking area trying to look for our car. OTL Cannot find wth! We spent like five minutes walking around the car park until we finally found our car =.= Bad luck no.6

In conclusion, i'm just thankful that we didn't pass the time limit for the parking ticket, or else this confirm a totally horrible day =.=
