24/12 PMR result day~ x)

i set my alarm at 9am but woke up only at 10.30.. =="

strangely(or not so strange), i feel fine...

guess i had a tendency of having a slow reaction..

same thing as da SIR competition..

until i reach da venue, see da stage n hear da buzzer only i start to feel nervous while wenyi n may vinn already kinda panicked da nite b4...

anyway i still hav no feeling la..

whn i go to schl its already 11am

as i go in i saw remy coming out.

walking through da school gate, i STILL no feeling..

i seriously thk mum is more nervous thn me..

until i walk towards da anjung d..

then i saw da amount of ppl at thr..

then panic...

SO MANY PPL!(form3 has 350+ students)

i lined up behind wenyi n sheau sze. may vinn behind me...

thn we waited for our results.........

first thing i saw on my result slip is chinese

cannot be la.. i'm banana de..

n i see the name is not mine

so i tell miss singam to change for me

then when finally got mine....

recipe for Lemonade

lolx i'm posting a recipe today xD

how to make LEMONADE

i saw this show on tv, and they taught how to make lemonade

so i gave it a try and it WORKS

anyway here is the recipe,

wad u gonna need is;

lemon(obviously)
sugar
water
ice
a glass/cup/mug
spoon(very important!)

first, slice da lemon. u'll only need abt 2-3 slices depending on da thickness. so 1 lemon can make abt 3 glass of lemonade.

put the lemon slices into da glass/cup/mug. add 2 teaspoons of sugar(preferably fine granulates).



shud look something like this...

then, using the spoon, CUCUK da lemon slices till da sugar dissolves. yes this may sound weird but thats wad they teaches and it works..

when da sugar dissolves, add water and ice. stir it for abit...


TADAH!!!!

we had a heated discussion abt how ppl guess yr age

she is stating da obvious

coz she said ppl see yr look wan de

then we talk abt height, she say ppl dont look at height to determine da age one

i say tat height is a "contributing factor" lah

obviously lah u cant say a person who is 3 feet+ is 20 years old

neither can u call a person who is 6 feet a 7 years old kid =="

so do u get wad i mean now siu jie?

height is a contributing factor lah..

juz admit it lah u r short..

and how u behave around ppl also influence de

since u behave so immaturely obviously ppl will thk u r not THAT old la..

and pls justin DONT praise her kay..

i know u wanna get into her good books ah, but seriously lah

11-13/12 Ulu Bendul Camp

i juz came back from a camp in ulu bendul forest reserve.

its a 3days 2 nights camp organised by seremban sudhamma buddhist society.

this is approximately what happened...


11/12 Day 1

Woke up at 9.00am then go rechecked my stuff..

Before we go to aunty karen's house, my sis washed her hair.

like.. why?-.-

i mean that we are gonna get wet right..?

anyway, when we reach aunty karen's house already quite some people at there. we wait abit and then finally, we're off!

on da way ah i dont know why but i jz cant seem to stop talking... -.- bro alex say its good la coz its entertaining to him..=="

then we made a toilet break at d rest place

when we reach there its already abt 1.15pm and seremban people are already there

anyway we jz kinda dumped our stuff on a spot la

i hugged my pillow cz i lazy to take d plastic bag and dunwan get it dirty

we go check in and get our name tags

so in d end...

team metta= jean, ai menn, mike, jian wei

team karuna= me, mei lin, yik ven, siu wen, jian cong

team mudita= zi-lynn, waye hong, jason, ying fen

team upekkha= zi-chyng, vincent, waye khean, wai ping

then we line up 2 by 2 and i stand next to mei lin(darling!)

then listen to bro goh briefing us on da do's and dont's, rules and some more things la

then we move to the foyer

everyone grabbed a piece of cardboard and sat on it

then we listen to bro cheah talking

then he rearrange our seating so its like 1 kmbs person sitting with 1 seremban person...

mei lin in front of me

and da lucky seremban person next to me is justin! haha xD

anyway then they say one seremban boy and girl must go up and talk something and same with kmbs

seremban first lo

guy is jia shyang and girl is jia yi (both is also jia ah..)

kmbs guy i'm not sure... forgot already.... =="

i thk its yik ven ar?

girl of course i remember la.. coz it me ma..

its so sweat lor coz everyone is calling for jean ah

then bro cheah ask her if she want to call anyone else

then she call me!

so they say vote la

jean got 7 votes

because kmbs got 17 ppl

bro cheah say

"why only 7 ppl? then wad abt the other 10 more youth?"
"so the other 10 more ppl is voting for wai ching lar is it?"
"so you see ah the problem here is that you all are shy to put up yr hand to vote"

and he talk abit la

then he say

"so wai ching, i thk u got da most vote"

i'm like so shocked!

can u imagine anot?

no one vote 4 me also i kena go up there and speak ah!

so i'm like "har... ok la..."

then i go up and say

"uh.. hi.. my name is wai ching.. i'm 15 years old.. um.. wad else do u wanna kno abt me?"

then it was abit noisy, ppl talking with other ppl

then jean put up her hand and say

"what's your shoe size?"

i'm not sure if anyone heard her so i jz say la

"my shoe size ah.. er.. 9.."

then bro cheah come rescue me

then i have to wait for the ppl to say i can sit then only i can sit

after i sit, they say

"pls face yr partners and try to get to know them"
"say hi to them..." etc. etc.

so i face justin and say "hi"

then he also say "hi"

then everyone kinda look abit awkward..

saved again by bro cheah..

then talk some more, quite alot of things

finally they lead us to our rooms

me unlucky la, i got da bed right in front of da door =(

jz dumped my things on da bed and luggage on da floor

change into shorts and sport shoes coz nxt activity is river exploration

they give each team an egg, 2 sheets of newspaper and ping pong ball. they also give us 1 glove and 1 plastic bag. we have to grab rubbish in da water, or as they call it as "stuff dat do not belong in da river"

then bro low(aka handsome low) permainkan us all..

"5 buttocks in da water"
"20 elbows in da water"
"5 head in da water"

yik ven got wet from head to toe

then when bro low got some leaves and ask us to guess wad is it

he show us got sap so i jz simply say la "rubber tree"

he say correct wo.. then he say since we got it correct we no need to go under the stick

but jz after justin go pass which is before me he say "suddenly the door closes"

so unfair u kno cz i answer it wan but i need to get wet but lian chong, mei lin and justin no need pulak..=.=

so i thk every1 behind me got wet..

thn as we continue, we found a dead dog in da water..

stinks quite bad la.. radiate metta to it.. may u be well and happy..

thn we have to try to float a ping pong ball down a river.. using da newspaper to fold a boat!

and our newspaper got wet adi!

so we jz fold and put it on a polystyrene plate la

and yik ven the pro ah.. havent even start da game already drop da boat in da water

everyone's boat also k.o. at da dam.. semua terbalik

but i thk mudita team got their ping pong ball farthest so they win

go back and bath.. water damn cold..

then they inspected our eggs

jean was so funny la, her egg cracked already and so she jz show it to them. then when they saw it they thought it was still intact.. then bro foo yin check it and then say it's cracked..

so they checked all da eggs, team karuna and mudita's eggs are still in perfect condition! hooray!

while team upekkha's egg broke before we even start da activity

anyway, our dinner is rice with vege, some meat and sumthing like dat la

i seriously thk da adults r trying to fatten us up or sumthing.. they give us so much rice!

i cant even finish 3/4 of it!

so yik ven "helped" me..we have to wash da container at da sink outside there, then muz wipe it dry.. make sure no oil.. stuff like tat la

then we did a dharma quiz

our team are sooo pro, we finish first and got da least mark..11/20



thn we have night walk, which we kena blindfolded and dibawa pergi jalan-jalan..

also my shoe's sole came out.. not sure how though cz i'm blindfolded

we had to sit down at only-adults-knows-where and meditate..

my mind keep straying to other things

anyway when we are finished, i had a cramp.. needed yik ven and bro julian to pull me on my feet..

so go back do puja and supper abit (cold milo) then sleep

not so early though..

actually its my experiment la.. to see whether da ppl next wall will knock back if i knock on da wall.. and very successful la.. so semangat orh they knocked back...

12/12 Day 2

zi-lynn's alarm went off at 5.30am, to the sound of Kesha's Tik Tok

but i thk 5.45 only we fully woke up..

weird thing is that at night it was hot like hell, but in the morning its like having the air-cond on..=="

anyway, we go down to do puja then breakfast..

then briefing again by bro low for da hill trekking

go and change into my wet and soggy sport shoes..

although it feels kinda nice cz its cool-ish..

then spray insect repellent everywhere! we wanna be anti-leech! xD

then trekked lor..

on da way up waz okay

but when it comes to on da way back...

walao kaki sakit weh.. my toes macam kena crushed inside my shoes

mei lin n i are the last ones to come back.. ==" pai seh..

then change into shorts cz they say got obstacle course so thought after tat only shower loh

but after lunch i cant tahan adi so pergi shower

and there is a fire fighting and first aid demo

da ppl who lead us to da hill came and gave a ceramah

we learn to wrap da head, arm and head including chin

then they teach us to use da fire extinguisher

haha they use ridset to light up da petrol or kerosene or sumthing la

i dipaksa pergi padam da api..

da thing is so heavy! so i put it on da floor and jz padam it loh..

but padam adi still got small flicker of fire.. ==" pai seh lah..

then drink milo again 4 tea

went up to change into a darker shirt 4 d obstacle course (luckily coz i got wet)

it was at this place tat i found out that seremban guys are soo UN-gentlemen-ish

i fell on my butt TWICE and in da water TWICE...

da second obstacle requires us to climb up a slope with a rope to hold on

so i climb up already. they ask us to sit and jump loh. i sit and jump and landed on my BUTT..==" who would hav thought STILL can jatuh.. i'm too pro..

and the other 1 is da concrete hurdle

da last one abit problem la abt chest high weh..

when i finally pass already, fell ah..

ALL DA GUYS JZ LOOKING AT ME FALL ON MY BUTT

proof lah...

fell in da water from da tarzan swing (all girls fell except 4 jean and zi-lynn) and da monkey bar. monkey bar funny lah. i got on da 3rd bar, then dunno how i manage to turn myself facing d beginning and stuck there loh. dangling for abt 15 secs my feet touching da water already.. then fully jatuh inside..==" again i'm too pro..

i vry tak puas hati 4 da last obstacle loh

its a 10 feet(approximately) tall ladder which we muz climb up and down. so easy to do lah!

but then bro low HAVE to go spoil my mood de. and zi-chying's mood

ngam ngam mau climb already ah tis bro low ah go cabut and stay at tarzan swing there. i WOULD hav climbed it anyway BUT he say dont climb without him mah..

So we wait... and wait.. AND WAIT.. but he STILL at tarzan swing woh.. until finally zi-chyng n i mau pergi tanya dia BILA dia balik ke sana. when we reach bro low there ah they say CLOSE SHOP ALREADY!!

seriously WHAT THE HECK???

DAMN PISSED OFF NOW

and i heard bro goh told him that we wait there for him. then u know wad he say anot?

"oh reali? so sry ah"

he didn't even realise that we were waiting there for him. tarzan swing is more important lah is it?

so we wait and wait and wait for NOTHING???

i feel so pissed that i didn't even look at him when he apparently say his "sorry"

i wished that i had gone up that ladder without him. if i fall and broke my arm and leg then so much the BETTER! rather than standing there like a dungu waiting for a person who has COMPLETELY forgotten that i'm waiting for him

(writing this makes me feel soo pissed.. okay cool down.. breath...)

so we walk back and shower, then dinner.

we have a dharma talk by bro ong (right?)

its more like discussion lah coz he ask every group to thk of a problem and then thk of a solution..

so every group has a problem lah, the problem is that we cant thk of a problem! xD

jean represent metta go first. she said "so our problem is, why cant we attain nibbana in this life. the solution, we shud ask an experienced dharma speaker like bro ong!" then everyone cheered! whoo! good one weh xD

in da end, everyone also said that they have no problem..

then they told us we hav to do a performance and sing a song. it was quite confusing, first they say they give us 15 mins to prepare. then the song 10 ppl sing. then 12 ppl sing. then no limit. then change to tomorrow only present. @@

whatever lah.. we kmbs like sesat only.. tidak apa saja.. n da seremban ppl damn serious leh.. practice till late at nite..

b4 lights off, we play UNO! barbie version (the cards). i wanna go grab my pillow when i saw a cricket on my slippers! i thought it was a cockroach so i screamed. then everyone also panicked lah.. and it can FLY weh! crawled onto my bed ah!

so when sis karen finally got da cricket out, i dun dare to sleep on da bed already.. sleep wid ai menn.

then when lights off ah, suddenly we start talking abt boys.. =="

anyway sleep..


13/12 Day 3

again we woke up to kesha's tik tok..

tis time i thk abt 6.00am only fully woke up..

when we are ready, we kmbs go down and did TAI CHI...

lol seriously i thk whn da seremban ppl came down n see us tai chi-ing they also laugh til sakai adi..

neewayz after tai chi, we do puja n hav our breakfast. this time is NASI LEMAK!!! whoo! xD

then we lepak abit, which bro cheah thought tat we discussing stuff =="

next is sudhamma race, metta n mudita vs karuna n upekkha.

again i dipaksa to do things, tis time is assistant ketua cz my ketua kumpulan become "deaf n mute.." =="

when they are teaching us how to use the compass, i kinda already understand abit of how to use it, and they made me blurer than i already am.. @@ it took me a while before i finally understood..

so basically we have to find an egg, a box of matches, karuna and upekkha sublime states, and metta sutta stanza 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

it was when we looked for the karuna and upekkha sublime states, that vincent n i decided tat compasses were pretty inaccurate.. and makes us look stupid.. ==" (seriously)

and everyone were so excited to cook the egg that they completely forgotten that we are supposed to be looking for the metta sutta stanza too.. i thk i kinda shocked bro cheah abit when i suddenly yell for the karuna members.. (so sry ==") but that managed to get their attention..

i thk it took us abt 15 mins to find for the metta sutta stanza.. which i found it in BETWEEN tree and the tree's name plate.. @@

realised that now de generation of guys not bad ah.. can cook weh..

quite smart if i do say so myself, they went to a bbq-ish thing to cook it. put some water at a metal biscuit cover and bbq-ed the egg.. pretty cool weh.. *thumbs up*

we came back waaayy earlier than team metta n mudita..

then they sat us down to talk talk talk lah..

cz i'm team assistant leader so i kena pergi cakap cakap.. =="

so i jz talk lah... and they wanna see our egg so we took a container and open it inside..

walah!



its like outside hard boiled and inside soft boiled..

the hard boiled part of the egg white taste pretty good.. x) good job u guys!

then we have to present our performance and singing..

actually we contemplated many thing to do eg. drama, dancing.. funniest waz singing kesha's tik tok and changing some lyrics then do some action to go wid it.. xD

jean gave an example,"wake up in da morning felling like 'ho zi-lynn'"

and zi-lynn was like "oi!"

we didn't even do much preparation.. and da seremban were like following us only..

anyway we ended up doing a quiz, jean gave some description of da youth in question, and they muz guess da youth's name.

pai seh la me.. everyone know my shoe size now.. =="

we sang "my beautiful friend" and pulled some ppl to sing with us(okay understatement of da year..) and in da end we sang to an empty audience.. =="

22/11 TWILIGHT MANIA!!

okay so nothing much happened today..

until at night

i still remembered it because it was DOWNRIGHT HILARIOUS!!! XD

okay back to main topic

like every normal teenage girl, i'm pretty much a twilight fan

though not obsessed much as harry potter

so i wanted to watch twilight.

they were showing it at astro on starmovie starting 10pm

so when then the show started, we just watch

usually dad doesn't like my movie preference

as i like to watch some movies again and again and AGAIN

but dad watched it

why?

because he hasn't seen it yet.

CAN U BELIEVE IT??????

HE HASN'T WATCHED IT!!!!

unfortunately its true...

so he did not really know much about the vampire world as i..

going on the movie, he pointed out some things

which are VERY amusing to me...

(the cullens make their first enterance)

Dad: who are they?
Me: the vampires.
Dad: oh...

my first reaction was like OMG you're not even listening to what's going on!

(well.. i guess that Jessica and Angela weren't being very informative in any way...)

(Bella enters the class and passes by a fan. Edward- for lack of better words- pinches his nose instinctively)

Dad: why is he doing that?
Me: because he is a vampire.
Dad: *looks at me with scrunched eyebrows*
Me: well the fan is blowing her scent to Eward...*trails off*
Dad: oh

reaction: i raised my eyebrows and shrugged


(school, parking lot)
(Bella nearly got killed, Edward pushes the van)

Dad: *raised eyebrows*
Mum: wow how he do that?
Me: *rolls eyes* he is a VAMPIRE..
Mum: oh...

reaction: *rolls eye*


(hospital)
(Bella getting checked if shes okay)

Carlisle walks in and checks up on Bella...

Dad: yer so ugly la that guy, he is too pale
Me: he is a vampire lar...
Dad: *mildly shocked* oh? he also?
Me: *mildly exasperated* yes.
Dad: doctor weh.. no one knew?
Me: yeah...
Dad: *kind of interested* hmm.....

reaction: i nearly laughed out loud...

(Carlisle, Edward and Rosalie discussing before interrupted by Bella)

Dad: they one family like that ar?
Me: yeah... Dad jz wait abit la they gonna explain later.
Dad: yes ar?
Me: yes.
Dad: okay lo.

reaction: relieved. he FINALLY shuts up...

(Bella found out about Edward and confronts him)

Bella: your skin is pale white and ice cold. you avoid sunlight, etc. etc.
Bella: how old are you?
Edward: seventeen
Bella: how long have you BEEN seventeen?
Edward: a while...
